Scaling an e-commerce platform with SEO, structure, and performance in mind

OVERVIEW

A fully optimized webshop built for visibility, usability, and long-term growth.

Korjaamolaitteet 24 is a Finnish e-commerce platform focused on selling automotive workshop equipment, including car lifts, tire machines, and diagnostic tools. The project required building a scalable and high-performing online store capable of handling a large product catalog while maintaining strong search engine visibility and a smooth user experience.

The goal was not only to create a functional webshop, but to develop a structured and SEO-driven platform that could compete in a highly competitive market. This meant combining technical implementation, content strategy, and user experience into a single system designed to attract traffic and convert it into customers.

(01) THE CHALLENGE

(01) THE CHALLENGE

One of the main challenges in this project was managing complexity at scale. The website needed to support a wide range of products across multiple categories, each with its own specifications, use cases, and target keywords. Without a clear structure, this could quickly lead to poor usability and weak SEO performance.

Another key challenge was ensuring strong visibility in search engines. The automotive equipment market is highly competitive, and ranking requires more than just product listings—it demands well-structured category pages, optimized content, and proper technical implementation such as schema markup.

In addition, the integration between design and e-commerce functionality needed to be seamless. Using Framer for the frontend and Shopify as the backend required a solution that could combine flexibility in design with reliable product management and checkout functionality.

(03) THE SOLUTION

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

  • Framer + Shopify (Frameship) integration

  • Advanced SEO strategy and implementation

  • Structured category and product architecture

  • Schema markup for products, categories, and pages

  • Conversion-focused product page design

  • Scalable CMS system for large product catalogs

The solution was built around a combination of structured SEO strategy, scalable design, and seamless system integration. The website was developed in Framer, allowing for full control over layout and user experience, while Shopify was used as the e-commerce engine, connected through Frameship to synchronize products into the CMS.

A key focus was creating a clear and logical site architecture. Categories were carefully structured to support both user navigation and search engine indexing, with each page designed to target specific keywords and search intent. Long-form SEO content was implemented across category pages, helping the site rank for relevant queries while also providing value to users.

On the product level, pages were designed to balance information and usability. Detailed specifications, structured layouts, and clear calls-to-action ensure that users can quickly understand each product and make purchasing decisions with confidence. Schema markup was also implemented across products, categories, and other key areas of the site, improving visibility in search results and enhancing how content is displayed in search engines.

The overall design prioritizes clarity and performance, ensuring that even with a large amount of content, the site remains easy to navigate. The result is a system where SEO, structure, and user experience work together rather than competing with each other.

(04) THE RESULT

The final result is a robust and scalable e-commerce platform built for long-term growth. The website now provides a clear and structured browsing experience, allowing users to easily navigate between categories, compare products, and find the information they need.

From a business perspective, the platform is no longer just a webshop—it functions as a search-driven acquisition channel. By combining SEO-optimized content with a strong technical foundation, the site is positioned to attract consistent organic traffic and convert it into sales.

The integration between Framer and Shopify ensures both flexibility and reliability, allowing the business to scale its product offering without compromising on design or performance. Overall, the project demonstrates how a well-executed combination of SEO, structure, and e-commerce strategy can transform a website into a powerful growth engine.
